Question Posted Thursday September 13 2007, 1:41 pm
My videos won't upload on Windows Movie Maker because they are .mov files. I tried converting them to .wmv files and it worked fine but I found out that it only converted HALF of the video so my 1 minute movie stopped after 30 seconds. i tried several other converters and the same thing kept happening. What converter do YOU guys use? I need it to convert the ENTIRE video not half. Thanks :)
If it won't convert into WMV, you can try converting it into DV-video or MPEG1. Movie Maker accepts those formats also. You can do that from mediacoder, look at the "video" tab, choose "default" for container. [ theymos's advice column | Ask theymos A Question ]
i use that for converting everything, ever. it's so cool. it can convert youtube videos to a file that works with an ipod, and it also lets you convert different sound files to make ringtones and stuff. it converts the entire video. it's a lifesaver!
