yes, but. he doesn't like me. :( if he did. then yeah i'd give it a shot, i actually considered it because i knew no matter what he wouldn't purposely try to hurt me. so it's either now..i let go of him and risk loosing my best friend...or i just hold on...and still have my best friend..whom i like a lot. :(
i don't know if i can let go of him and still be able to have my best friend there. :(
if i let go..it means i wouldn't be able to really talk to him for a few days..which could cause us to drift..and not be as close as we once were. :(

I never said let go. That's giving up and giving up is the worst thing you can do. You haven't even started yet. Give it a shot and see what happens. You will regret it if you don't. You came here looking for advice. If you're just going to reject any ideas given to you then what was the point of asking for advice? If you could figure it out for yourself you would, but you can't or you wouldn't have asked. There's no harm in trying to start a relationship with this guy. No harm whatsoever. You've got nothing to lose at this point. It's not like he dislikes you. He may not have strong feelings for you but he definitely likes you, he must, you're his friend. Strong feelings develop over time after you've already been in a relationship with someone. You can't have all the feelings you're ever going to feel for that person until you've been as close to them as you can be. Strong feelings for you can develop in him. Again, give it a shot. You have absolutely nothing to lose. Tell him everything you feel and ask him if he wants to be your boyfriend. Good luck. [ sizzlinmandolin's advice column | Ask sizzlinmandolin A Question ]
