birthday

Question Posted Sunday September 9 2007, 2:43 pm

My boyfriends sixteenth birthday is coming up in a month. I already know he is getting a car,so getting places won't be a problem. Coincidentally his birthday is also Our 0ne year anniversary too. he is more of the music type, not really into sports.

what i had planned is:
1. making him a cake the night before.
2. that day, taking him out to a nice sushi restaurant for our one year/ his birthday.
3. now i just need to take care of a gift,
something meaningful. but yet something he will like.

any suggestions?

I know how you feel! I have a year and a half anniversary coming up and I have no clue what to get my man. But.....Have you ever thought about a scrapbook? He could keep this forever and you can put lots of different things in it.....not just pics! You could put notes that ya'll have written each other or pics of his favorite band or something. Just be totally creative with it!

The idea's you have planned sound like a "Great" start. I think whatever gift you buy him should have alot of meaning something he will never forget. Did you ever think about writing him a song?!?!?

To be quite honest, it isn't meaningful unless it is something you thought up yourself.
We don't know him from Adam, nor do we have any clue as to what he really likes, so we can't really tell you a good gift idea. Make sense?

You say he is into music? Base your gift on that.

It means more if it comes from YOUR mind and heart.

Not being a meanie- just telling you the truth. :)

Try getting him something meaningful to you and him, Since we don't know the full story we won't know what's meaningful to you and him.
Well, I always pull a lazy and get a gift card, You could do that as a last resort:P

Try getting tickets to a band he likes (but something you wouldnt' mind going to, either). If you buy them right as they're released (as in, the DAY and HOUR they're available, try ticketmaster.com) you can expect to pay about 100-150 for two tickets with service charges.

Or, buy a few CDs you know he likes & give them to him over dinner. Taking him out to dinner is really nice too, so long as he isn't allergic to fish =P

Congrats on one year! =]
