Question Posted Thursday September 6 2007, 11:19 am
i used to be best friendd with this girl alex in 4th grade.
we eventually grew apart nd for no reason at all. hated eachother throughout 6th and 7th grade.
in 8th, we started to hang out with the same people, so we became really close again.
not one on one best friends, but we always called eacother one of eachothers best friends.
it was usually me, alex, sydney, linda, and elise who hung out.
[linda is my best friend and elise, aex, and sydney are best best friends]
now i'm about to go into 9th grade and i hung out with linda the entire summer.
i'm not even sure why but alex, sydney, and elise don't like linda at all.
they said they feel like iu hang out with her too much, she talks too much crap, and she can get me into "bad things."
now they barely even talk to me and when i see them i'll wave and they'll just nod their head.
i'm trying to be civil and just be best friends with them again, but they're not making it so easy..
what do i do to get things back to normal?

MODERNDURATION answered Friday September 7 2007, 5:15 pm: adolence is the true rollercoaster. Through out highschool i gained new friends, lost them, then gained some. The answer to your question is that some things never go back to normal and if it does it tends to tak time. What the important thing is that you know who your true friends are. If the other group starts speaking badly of your one friend, stand up for her, thats what friends do for one another. AND if the other girls dont respect that fact then they arent worth it. In highschool and through out the rest of your life you have to make decesions, they are getting harder and harder all the time but you learn from them. So figure out which friend/s brings out the best in you and makes you feel the best and stick with them.
