I am very confused. It is so much harder to get over a guy that I went out with for 14 days (only saw 3 or 4 days) than it did to get over a guy I dated for 8 months. I don't understand it?!?!?
I'm 13 almost 14 and a girl.

I believe the reason to it is is because the guy you went out with for 8 months, you got so used to, and he almost became "un-specail". honestly think about it. this guy you have been dating for 8 months, you knwo everything about, all his bad sides, all this good sides, and honestly, you are probably kinda a little bit sick of him. and this guy you dated for 14 days, hes still a mystery, you still want more from that relationship.

You probably fell a lot harder for the guy you went out with for 14 days compared to your ex bf you went out with for 8 months. It just means that you have stronger feelings for him, regardless on how long you dated. Why not try to date around?? You do have to realize that 14 days is not that long. Yes, it's still difficult, but it shouldn't change your life drastically. Go hang out with your friends & meet new people. Give yourself some time also. You can't expect to get over someone really fast, even if you haven't really dated that long. It would be a good idea to just get out & date around. That way your mind will be focused on someone else.
