computer freezez at post screen

I recently got a new cd burner i connected it but my computer wold not read it, so i disconnected my other drive and made the burner the master dive, but it didnt wrk it just froze in the post screen with the big AOL, so i disconnected it and reconnected my other dive and put my pc back to ether how i had it before i messed with it but it stays in tha screen i cant go into the bios or anything cause the thing is frozen.
ANY HELP OR IDEAS ON HOW TO FIX IT MAYBY WESITES ANY THING WOULD HELP THANKS.

If that doesn't work, count how many times it beeps on startup and read this for more info:

You want the "Original IBM POST error codes". If it beeps twice, scroll down on that page for the error codes.

If you made your CD-ROM drive a master drive in your BIOS setup utility, remember not to do that in the future. You should only touch those settings when you have more than one drive of a specific type installed. You should rarely do anything in the BIOS setup at all, actually.
