Eye Twitching.

Question Posted Saturday September 1 2007, 1:11 pm

My eyes have twitched before randomly, but never for a long period of time. For three days now, my eyes have been twitching sporadically. Is this something to be concerned about or will it eventually just go away?

I have been stressed by school lately, and just began wearing contacts. But I don't think contacts have anything to do with it.

It always happens to me, and yeah now that i aspecially started school, non stop man... non stop. Its the muscle in the eye, and i guess when you get stressed it does that. Just relax, or should i say "chilax". Maybe its a sign that you need to take a break and rest.

I hope I helped!

Stress, fatigue, prolonged looking at television or computer screens can cause this amongst a few other things. It is very irritating to have to put up with but it should ease in a few days. If it doesn't, look at what you can do to relieve some of the stress etc. If it's still doing it in a couple of weeks you should see your doctor to get it checked properly.
