I listen to mostly metal..and any other genre of music containing the word metal, but I like the song ''rock star'' by NERD..are there any other songs quite similar to that?

I have never heard that song but if you go to www.pandora.com and type in a song or band that you like, they play you a list of full-length songs that are similar to that song or band. Its free and really nice for finding new music.
