'speed up my pc'

Does the software 'SpeedupMyPc' really work? Or does it crash my hardware sometime later.

Software never ruins your hardware. What would speed up your computer and decrease the life of your hardware is overclocking, which is(as far as I know) impossible from software. It's not for novice users, so I won't explain it here.
