im in a group doing a project and one thing we need some info on is George Bush/the war in Iraq and basically should he be forgiven? opinions & small amounts of info would be great =]
Iraq was not the cause of the 9/11 attack, nor was Sadam Hussein which he has numerously said. Saudi Arabia was the cause of the attack. It has been proven.
nearly 450 billion dollars has been spent on a useless task in iraq. There is chaos everywhere. (Much more than before we went)
There have been thousands of unecessary casualties of the army and Iraq civilians.
There were no weapons of mass destruction found.
It is possible that this war is the grandest mistake a president has made in U.S history.
This contains biographical as well as historical info about all 43 U.S. presidents. I assume you are talking about George W. Bush rather than his father George Herbert Walker Bush. Both had wars in Iraq.
Regardless all the history and biographical stuff on any president is at the same link. Vice-presidents and former first ladies/current also have pages.
Be weary of Wikipedia or any other Web site as they are biased and could contain information about the president, historical fact/biographical that is inaccurate.
As far as the questions you ask you'll not find a solid answer to them. If a Republican answers they are apt to be in favor of Bush and a Democrat won't be.
My perception as well as others ultimately doesn't matter. It cannot change things (apparently). What matters is your assessment and beliefs on Bush in the report you are writing as that's what the teacher will give you high marks for.
You have to think about variables too and how that affects war and messes plans up. What your teacher wants is an unbiased view of both sides jusging from the questions they want you to answer. [ solidadvice4teens's advice column | Ask solidadvice4teens A Question ]
