i'm going to be a sophomore this year but im moving my cousins will be there [at my new school] but i mean theyd be the only people i know and one of them will be a freshman the other would be in grade eleven. i don't know ANYBODY in that school so i'll be a 'newbie' with no friends. so my class is just like a freshman except i have no friends.
how do i meet people without seeming like a creep? or a dork desperate for friends? im horrible at meeting new people.
help please.
Be yourself. If you're gonna pretend to be someone else to fit in, then you lose sight of who you really are & end up forgetting what you knew about yourself. I have a friend who changed & changed & changed because his friends ditched him & didn't tell him why, so he changed to fit in with them & get them back. In the end, they still ditched him & he had no clue who he was anymore. He's currently repairing himself & learning about himself again.
If you want friends, there's a lot of places to look. Join a club that sounds interesting. Do you like writing? Join the newspaper or something. There will be other kids there who also enjoy writing. Join a sport you like. It's really easy to make friends, you've just gotta be open & willing to them.

smile.
and seem open.
give positive body language, like not crossing your arms and eye contact.
just think as it as starting over, clean slate.
new hot guys! and you get the chance to start over. you don't have a rep. you get to totally recreate yourself.
but when it comes to making friends just smile and introduce yourself. ask if you can sit with them at lunch and stuff like that.
