tampons !
okay so im 14 years old and deffently ready to use a tampon . but the thing is , im scared of breaking the hymen, like will it hurt? will i cry? how will i know when its broken? i know how to insert one , ive practiced about twice . but then i pull it out because i dont want it to hurt too bad .
did it hurt you when you first used a tampon ? and how will i know when its broken? HELP! [btw: i start school tommarow!]

your hymen is just a thin layer of skin that can break just by normall movement (running, stretching etc.), so it might not even be an issue for you. but if it does break when you put in a tampon it shouldn't hurt to bad. it might bleed a bit even if your not on your period. this is normal. but breaking it will not harm you in any way.

Yeah wat the person below me said, and it doesnt hurt it just feels weird fro like the first daay or two then u get used to it and its like its not even there i'm 14 and i started them recently and i got used to them. Hope this helps =)Just remeber not to leave them in too long!!

If it hurts, it won't hurt much. You may not even be able to tell if the hymen breaks. The hymen can be broken even without using tampons or having sex. If you horseback ride, or ride bikes, your hymen may already be broken. It shouldn't hurt to use a tampon, and if it does hurt, it might not be in right. Hope this helps :)
