what types of tampons are there
i know there's plastic and card board is there any other kind
if there is which one is best to use so you won't get tss
DearAbby92 answered Sunday August 19 2007, 12:57 am: Plastic, cardboard, and ones without any applicator like OB.
The applicator (or lack there of) will not increase nor decrease your chances of getting toxic shock syndrome. Like the person below me said, it's how your body reacts to it.
To avoid the (small) risk of TSS, change your tampon regularly (every 4 to 6 hours, or as needed), use the minimum requirement for your flow, and use a pad at night time. [ DearAbby92's advice column | Ask DearAbby92 A Question ]
