Does Zach Efron really sing in the first high school musciacal? I thought he did, but they say Drew did. Who's Drew and why didn't they just give him the part of Troy. Won't people notice when Zach has a totally different voice the second movie? Does Efron even sing for himself in the second movie?

Sima answered Saturday August 18 2007, 11:54 am: Yeah, Zac said that Drew Seeley's voice was blended in with his for the first HSM. Zac said that it was himself who was singing during HSM 2. During Hairspray, it was also Zac who was singing for himself, so his voice sounded different from the first High School Musical. Drew Seeley's just a singer and he went on tour with the rest of the HSM cast. He's Canadian. He sang a duet with Belinda (really popular Mexican singer), and he did a few guest appearances on some shows. It was confirmed that Zac sang in HSM 2, without the help of Drew.
