if i use bittersweet chocolate instead of semi-sweet chocolate in a recipe will it still taste okay?

Yeah...it won't taste as sweet but the other person was W-R-O-N-G! People just pick there chocolate and the average people like semi-sweet chocolate. if you like bittersweet, go for it! Try it and taste it!

i think it depends on the recipe. if it's a chocolate-based dish, like a chocolate cake or something, it probably won't taste right. but if it's like, a sprinkling of chocolate over something else, i don't think it would make that much difference.
