If it takes 129KJ of energy to propel a rocket 2KM, how much energy is required to propel the rocket 2.24KM?

I really need help & if you can do this, you don't have to tell me the answer just tell me how I can do it and how I can get the answer.

-If it takes !!129KJ!! of energy to propel a rocket !!2KM!!, !!how much energy!!(x) is required to propel the rocket !!2.24KM!!?(identify important bits)
-129/2=x/2.24 (translate into a math problem)
-129*2.24=288.96 (multiply)
-288.96/2=144.48 (divide)
-x=144.48
-144.48KJ is required to propel the rocket 2.24KM

If you don't understand the math, you're not going to be able to do the science. You didn't need to know any formulas at all for this, just fractions.
