Red Bumps On Pits

Question Posted Tuesday August 14 2007, 10:30 am

Whenever i shave my underarms,
I use shaving cream & a razr,
I get all of the hair off but
about five seconds after I shave
red bumps pop up everywhere in
my pits. Sometimes they irritate
me and they itch and then somtimes
they dont. But they are UNATRACTIVE.

Why is this happening?

hiya, you might be a reaction of the shaving cream you use..but in future after you shave, wax, etc. make sure to use antiseptic such as savlon or any other you may use.

hope it works..takecare.

Hey, my name is Em231 and I think I can help
this might sound werid but when your done shaving
your under arms put some lotion under your under arms. If that works do it everytime you shave if that wil help if it don't tell your mom and tell your mom to make an appointmentor if your mother say's otherwise.
I hope I helped.

I get this too. The only thing that really helps is shaving the hair like you normaly would when its a bit long, 2-3 mm.
.. The space between each dot is about a millimeter, so that's about how long you want the hair to be.

Applying a lotion helps a little bit, but not much.
Shaving using cold water helps a bit, too.

try using a sensitive skin shaving cream. Be sure you're using a women's razor also. Tell your physician

It's razor rash, most likely. Try using a moisturizing shave cream.
