Your quote simply means.....that not everyone that pays you a compliment means it. Look at their facial expression, look at their eyes. The quote is bassicaly telling you that not all people who you think are your friends or are nice to you may be who they come out to be. So just keep a close eye on those around you.

by that i mean. the girl could have told you she liked you hair but seconds later turns around and starts talking smack on you to everyone.
