Alin75 answered Monday August 13 2007, 5:08 am: There are no ways to lose weight on your thighs specifically. All of the spot reduction stuff is nothing more than a very persistant myth. You can lose weight from your whole body, or not at all. Humans simply cant do it any other way (though genetics will affect if one area gets emphasised more than another).
Basically, squats build muscle and thats pretty much it. They are the best exercise for this purpose.
Running, like all cardio, burns a lot of calories. Thats great for weight loss, however not specifically from the legs or thighs. Of course, there will be no weight loss at all without a proper diet.
