a lot of people have stereotyped the south (southern states) as being stupid and poor. this isnt true, i dont think, right? how can i counter their argument
LM answered Sunday August 12 2007, 8:41 pm: Either ignore them or declare that stereotypes are stupid & untrue. It's no different than saying "Canadians only like bacon and hockey". You're going to find stupid and/or poor people no matter where you live. Doesn't matter if you're from the South. You don't have to be Canadian to like bacon and hockey. Plus, I'm mostly Canadian and bacon is far from being my favorite food.
