so i have an awful relationship with my dad, like the worst .. we dont talk he says im a disappointment, my parents are divorced. my priest has become like my dad .. he is my best friend i talk to him about anything he is like a dad to me. i wanna get him a little something to show him i care but idk what. nothing like religious cause he prob has tons of stuff like that, but something special and personal. any ideas?
I'm also very close to my Priest and I know that he played volleyball in college, and I captain a Nationally ranked volleyball team...so as I thank you for being such a big part of my life I saved up and got us tickets to an AVP Tournament in Chicago. He really loved it, and it helped us to bond even further.
Finding something like that you can share with him will allow you to express your thanks and to further deepen your bond.
hadmeathello answered Sunday August 12 2007, 2:15 pm: write him a thank you card. that will probably have the most meaning to it.. and it will show him how much you really appreciate him. write in it how much he has help you and how much it means to you that you can have someone to talk to. tell him it feels good that you can trust him that much to talk to him like you do.
i know it might not seem like a lot to you but believe me he will most definitely enjoy reading it.
because it takes thought to write someone a letter to show how much you care. more thought and care then it takes to go out and buy him a gift.
