Period help!!!!
hi, im 14 and a month i haven'tstarted my period so im worried how can i make it come and i lied to my best friend saying i just started it i feel scared she may find out please help and i masturebate with random stuff in the toilet and i think i scratched myself in there when i fingered myself does this affect periods when you atart?

As for your friend, no big deal. When a lot of girls first get it it's very sporadic. You might be it once and then not get it again for a few months or more. So don't worry about her finding out. And of course, you could also always just say that you made a mistake and thought you had it. So don't worry about it.

sporadic means not predictable, as in there is no consistent, reliable pattern. Ex: someone who does side jobs but never knows when they'll get their next job could say that their jobs (and paychecks) are sporadic.

Everybody starts at different times and in my opinion the later you start the better, beause trust me its a pain in the butt. The masterbating I dont think it could affect your period, because your period has mostly to do with your eggs inside of you and you only scratched your vagina.

First off -- I don't understand why girls these days have to lie about getting their period. What makes them do this ? Having your period WILL NOT make you "cooler!"
Nothing can make your period come, it will come when your body is ready. And no, the masterbating will not affect it either.
Some girls don't get their period until they're older. Usually, the more athletic you are the later it comes. I don't understand why you would want it, it's a pain in the butt.
Just wait and be happy you don't have it. Having your period isn't all that great, you have to worry about when you are going to get it, cramps suck, you have to change your pad/tampon constantly, you get worried about if you're going to bleed onto your clothes, or if you can even go swimming.
So, wait it out.

take a deep breath and calm down. nothing can "make" your period come its a natural process that happens on its own. I'm 14 too and i still havent gotten my period! Now for your friend. Tell her the truth and explain why you lied. If she's a good friend she'll probably forgive you. Besides you want her to be able to help you when you really need it...like if you need a pad/tampon and don't have one! Hope I helped.
