On a diet, can you eat a lot of fruit?? I tend to eat fruit & fruit products. Grapes, strawberries, jellies/jams [no added sugar], juices [orange & apple 100% juice], etc. Can I continue with this or no?? Also, I eat a lot of breakfast foods. Cereal, oatmeal, whole grain breads, whole grain english muffins, pasta & rice, etc. I also eat a lot of lettuce, carrots, & tomatoes. For snacks I have 100 calorie packs occassionally or chewy bars [100 cals, 2g of fat]. Am I on the right track?? Thanks!
ComplexMind answered Thursday August 9 2007, 5:07 pm: You seem to be on the right track, a lot of fruit is 0 calories. But cereal, oatmeal and breads are more limited. You should try to avoid eating more than one bread food a day. They're starchy!
