what does this saying mean:

Men grow more in love with the woman they're attracted to...

Women grow more attracted to the man they love.

Men initially like a woman for her appearance and learn to love her when it's really her looks he's concerned with, while a woman will like a guy for what's inside...regardless of how he looks and she'll learn to appreciate his appearance.

It means that men are more shallow than women.

They pay more attention to looks and women pay more attention to other things.
