if i was 17 some months ago and i get my 6 hours of driving instruction now, do i still have to wait 6 months until i can drive alone? do people drive alone at 17 when they get their license? i dont understand

yes because your still getting your license for the first time...I'm fairly sure that that law is only abolished when your 18...but it really depends upon the state...in my state you can drive by yourself right away...but you can't have anyone under the age of 21 in the drivers seat until 90 days after you get your license...and there isn't a curfew as to how late your permitted to be out like most states either...I would ask at the DMV when your getting your license because it really depends upon the state.
