They mean the same thing. It's something you yell at someone attractive or you say it after someone says something sexual.

Bom chicka wah wah.
Its on the axe commercial, where a guys wearing axe cologne or something, and then in each commercial a girl notices and starts saying "bom chicka wah wah" and starts dancing. It's pretty funny, basically its there slogan I guess if you could say that.
