Usually, when you go to see the dermatologist, you should come in with your face freshly washed clean and no makeup or moisturizer on.

^^ Hey, I use proactive, and it can work with so many skin types, trust me, I've tried so many things, and most of the time, the stuff I used didn't help.

But yeah, the only thing I don't like about proactive, is that it made my skin kinda dry, but other than that. It rocks out loud, but I don't think dermatologists clean your face...I think they just ask you questions about your face, and then they look at it and then see what can help.

Yeah I just asked my parents, and they think that they don't clean your skin, they just look at it and all that fun stuff...

^^ Hoped I helped!
