is it a phobia if whenever you walk in the dark or something, you always look behind you? I'm not sure why, but when i walk up the stairs when the lights are turned off, i keep looking behind me. I'm not afraid of the dark or anything. am I just being paranoid? thanks in advance!

I do the same thing, it's actually a good idea because it makes you more aware of your surroundings. Plus, I always get the feeling I'm being watched. So yeah, I check.
LOL_x0x answered Tuesday August 7 2007, 8:28 pm: I am the same way. I think it's a mixture of:
- a terrible fear of the dark. (if you are like me, you literally cry when in total darkness).
- paranoia. (we must watch toom any scary movies ;])
Basically, I think you're fine. Other people, like myself for example, are like this, too. so don't worry about it =]
peebles7 answered Tuesday August 7 2007, 8:28 pm: haha, I do that too. people are just naturally scared of things harming them that they aren't aware of, like people attacking from behind (not that we actually think that, it's just instinct).
