I can't lose weight. No matter how hard I try. I want to lose maybe 10 lbs and even when I only eat 1000 calories, I don't lose any weight what-so-ever. The only way I lose weight is by eating 400 or less calories and that's just not enough food. I don't understand why some people can eat 2x what I eat and weigh less than me. Is there anything I can do to lose weight and not be eating less than 400 calories?! thank you.

1. you could just be SUPER crytical of yourself and actually be 90lbs thinking your huge. (If you are this person, i must slap you, i mean that as kind as possible.)
2. you can't loose weight by just cutting back calories. you need to EXCERSISE as well.
lovelymanders answered Monday August 6 2007, 3:49 pm: ok if you only weigh 102 lbs and you 24 then I'd say that's pretty good already. you bmi body mass index is about 28% and 50% is about average so your below average so I really don't think you need to lose weight but anyways just try like limiting you intakes like you are but makes sure pop, fats, and sweets are pretty much erased from your diet. you can't always loose wieght but monitering your food. run alot, about every day if your trying to loose leg weight, also spend your days as much as you can out side juts hanging out or playing sports as long as your moving. hope I helped. The less you way, the less calories you burn in most cases. 400 calories is not enough to even function for the day. You can go up to 1200 calories & still lose weight, as long as they are good calories. There are a difference between good calories & bad calories. For example, lets say there is two people who weigh 110 lbs. Both people have a meal that is worth 500 calories. Person 1 has pizza, fries, & a coke while person 2 has fish, corn, salad, a baked potato, & a lemonade. Obviously, person 2 has the healthier meal, even though they are both worth 500 calories [not really, just saying for this situation]. Person 1 has much more grams of fat in their meal compared to person 2's meal. See the difference?? Don't be so concerned about how many calories you actually intake. Just be concerned how many of those calories are good calories. It would be better to eat 1500 calories a day filled with cereal, oatmeal, fruits & veggies, salads, fish, meat, pasta etc. rather than eating 1000 calories a day of pizza, chips, cake, & cookies. 10 lbs is not a huge amount of weight, but will be a lot more difficult for you since you only weigh 102 lbs, which is barely anything. Here's a website-
Fill in all of your information & it will give you an idea on how many calories you should intake daily. Drink lots of water to keep yourself hydrated & exercise a few times a week. Make sure you don't skip meals & if you're hungry, eat. Don't let yourself starve. Just have a bite of fruit & veggies or crackers.
