Ohh I spent 2 years working at McDonalds ... don't be nervous about the interview!

I'm in Canada, so I don't know if your inteview process is different from mine, but basically my interviewer went through my resume, asked me to talk about some things on it (for example, I used to volunteer at horse shows in the summer, and she asked me what kind of work was involved in that). They'll ask you about what hours work for you, and why you want the job.

Also, they had me do this little "hospitality quiz", where there were about 10 questions and you had to answer them the best you see fit. They would be like "when a child wants a different happy meal toy, what do you do?", and there's multiple choice answers. It's really easy, and you'll be hired if you score 7 or higher out of 10. Hope that helped!

Calm down:].

They will ask what your best days and hours are to work, what you would prefer to be doing at McDonalds, grades in school, activites, hobbies, and experience.

Dont worry- you will do fine.

I wish you the best of luck, I hope you get it:]

Hey- I don't work at McDonalds- but my sister recently started working there.

She was incredibly nervous for her interview- as it was her first one. She said it only took 5 minutes- but its different for every McDonalds, I assume.

Here are a few tips:

-Make eye contact
-Smile
-Have a firm [not too wobbly, but not too tight] handshake
-Explain everything more than you normally would
-Don't be rude
-Smile [Yes, I realize I already said this]
-And most importantly- thank them for their time.

Basically since it's McDonalds- it won't be too much like a regular job interview. Basically simple questions like how you're doing in school, what your extra curriculars are, etc.

Just relax and think of it like a normal chat- only don't use slang terms- adults don't understand/appreciate slang.

Good luck!
