Ok so some people say that if you put eyeshadow on your eyebrow bone ( below eye brows but above your crease ) then it looks good... but then some people say it looks bad. opinions????
for my eyelashes, when I put mascara on... it looks pretty and everything, but they're too spaced out so you can't see them from far. so how do I get them to clump a little together. Not a lot of clump, just a little so that it's more visible. When I do that with my mascara wand, more mascara gets on it and it just looks really messy. help!!!
for my eyebrows, well the shape is like this (
except face up... lol
and i don't know, it's just really bushy and when I try to tweeze them, they get so messed up and un even...... I hate waxing!!
I asked my mom to help me but she says later and always forgets (also she thinks i'm too young to tweeze my eyebrows... i'm turning 15 in a 3 months) So any advice??
for my hair, I am dying it permanently...but my mom is so insecure and she think's that if I dye my hair at this age, i won't stop dying it and it will fall out eventually.
Also for my hair, it's medium thick (so not totally thick) I straighten it a lot and its naturally straight, but poofy and frizzy. So I'm thnking about getting front layers, to thin it out a little. I need good shampoo and conditioner that helps my hair be healthy, not damaged, not dry, smooth, smelley and shiney.
i'm sorry if this was really long, I just need a make-over before school starts. thank you in advance
EYELASHES; if you want them not to seperate as much, then use a mascara wand tat doesnt have the fine brush, such as great lash mascara . you can get it at drug stores for about $5 .
EYEBROWS; hmm... try to get an eyebrow stencil from a drug store to help you pluck them into a shape instead of a semi-circle . But you have to be careful not to overpluck . So waxng may be worth it .
HAIR; tell your mom that when you dye it, your gonna stick with this color and only touch up the roots when needed . And that you will use a color protectant shampoo .
MROE HAIR; beware, that if you have frizzy poofy hair, layers will only make it frizzier and poofier . maybe long layers in the back, but that adds volume . Use herbal esscences color me happy . It smells great, adds shine, softness and protects your dyed hair . [ itsTAYLERR's advice column | Ask itsTAYLERR A Question ]

Do you use an eyelash curler? I curl mine before and after when the mascara dries, it really stands out. You probably just need a new mascara. Maybe Maybelline's Lash Stylist will work better for
you? The brush looks like this:
If you curl your eyelashes close to the lid AND the very top of your eyelashes. They will curl in more and look better.
Ask your mom to take you to a salon or get a friend's mom to take you. They will help you tweeze or wax, get you a thinner shape. You should go up to her with a tweezer and ask her for help. Just pluck the bottom to create a shape. [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
If your friend has good eyebrows, maybe you could ask her to pluck yours.
You could always tell your mom that you will pay to get your eyebrows done.
Sometimes blush eyebrows look good, if you do decide to do them yourself.. Don't go overboard and have them super thin. Your natural eyebrows need to be plucked a little because it's the shape that will flatter your face. I overplucked and I'm still suffering from it haha!
To get rid of the poofy part, go get a hair cut. Get your hair thinned out, it will be a lot easier to straighten your hair. For the frizz, it's probably because you straighten your hair a lot and you may have split ends. You just need to go out and buy a frizz ease serum.
I use Garnier Fructus shampoo fitted for colored hair, damaged/dry, etc. Look for the one you want.
I also use Mane N Tail, that helps damaged hair. It contains proteins to give you soft, healthy, hydrated hair.
I don't know of any shampoo that controls frizz. You just need to use a serum after you shower.

I used to put it there and now when i look at pictures i cringe haha.. I'd stick to eyelids if i were you unless you just want to use a light shimmer or colour.
For you eyelashes, a different type of mascara might help. I thought this one seems right for you :
Thickening mascara When you want bulk, you do want to buy the mascaras touted as 'thickening.' These products contain a thicker formula of waxes & silicone polymers that coat lashes & make them appear bulkier. The best thickening mascara on the market (according to InStyle magazine's 2006 'Best Beauty Buys' guide) is Christian Dior Diorshow (about $22):
From experience i must say i've found that spending more means A LOT better. I use YSL thickening mascara and i find it amazing for making my lashes stand out, you wear mascara everyday (generally) so it needs to be good:)
For your eyebrows, why don't you save up (if you don't have money) and get them professionally done. Once a professional has waxed/threaded/plucked your eyebrows into a nice shape, it will be easy for you to just pluck the stray hairs away from then after. Doing it yourself from the start can end up with you taking half your eyebrow off!
Hair wise dying and straightening BIG NO NO, after experiencing my hair basically breaking off through dye and everyday straightening was horrible!
If your hair is frizzy i wouldn't recommend dying it as dye tends to make your hair more frizzy. This is more of a problem the lighter dye you go.
That said if you are still wanting to dye it after reading that... I wouldn't recommend straightening anymore. Instead use hair products to tackle the frizz and poofy-ness, there are many leave in conditioners and de-frizzing balms out there you just need to ask your hairdressers. Also you should think about buying a treatment condtioner, you just leave it in for say 10 mintues and it helps strengthen your hair and condition it etc, i use pantene at the moment.
Here's a website that compares the best anti-frizz shampoos: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
The haircut issue i can't really comment on, except the fact my friend always used to tell me not to get laters toooo short as they stick up in the morning! I'd ask a hairdresser about that, they know best!
phatdopelove answered Friday August 3 2007, 7:05 pm: Yeah for some people it looks, bad. Sometimes it works sometimes it don't. And for me it doesn't.
Mascara: Before you use mascara use a lash curler, and a lash brush, asn then put on the mascara but light touches, not to much because they could easily spread out.
Eyebrows: Don't tweeze its really bad, some of that hair won't grow back if you keep tweezing them, and you have to draw them, I have to now cause my hair won't grow back. And you don't want to have to deal with that. So take some cuticle scissors (the ones you use when you get your hair cut) and push your hair with your index finger upwards and any hair that sticks out you snip that little bit out. It'll keep that polished look. Also, if you have to, you can draw on your eyebrows using a eyebrow powder, using a eyebrow pencil will be too harsh and follow along your your natural hair line.
Hair: Try using a semi-permananent dye since permanent can fry out your hair. Like clairol natural instincts [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
Clairol also comes with a semi- dye that is mousse like, you spray in your hair.
I personally use Garnier frutice products it has vitamins in it. And it smeels rellu good. Then when you straighten your hair try using John Frieda's hair serum to tame the frizz. Its about $4 for small bottle and & $7 for the big bottle. But totally worth the money hope I helped. [ phatdopelove's advice column | Ask phatdopelove A Question ]
