Sometimes when my boyfriend gives me hickeys, they turn people at first, right? Then they turn a yellowish color.. Is that normal? Why is it turning that color?

It's a bruise, so the changing of colors is natural. It'll change colors and get lighter, and eventually disappear.

A fresh bruise turns red and changes to purple or blue. You know when the bruise is healing once it changes to yellow. So yes it's normal.

"It is the hemoglobin in the red blood cells and the breakdown products of the hemoglobin that cause the coloration seen in bruises as they age."
