When I was in 8th grade, I would make friends in my homeroom, or first class. Then, when we got out to go to lunch, you just kind of sit at a table, and say "is it okay for me to sit here?", and they will most likely say yes unless they have it saved for someone.

so what i would do is call one of your friends and tell them to meet you somewhere and its ok to sit alone people might even come up and sit by you and you will make more frieds i know that sounds kind of like bad advice to sit alone but you just need to be social and not shy or they will already pre label you as the shy girl!
if you need to ask me anymore questions about going into 8th grade just ask ok!
