advicer answered Tuesday July 31 2007, 11:12 pm: The only thing I can really suggest is babysitting, or cleaning your house. Ask your parents for an allowance. I heard somewhere the average allowance for a 14ish year old is $8 a week. Or, you could clean other people's house if you can. A garage sale? Save your coins and you'll make a few extra dollars. Actually, I think McDonalds hires at 14. I'm not positive, but you could try. [ advicer's advice column | Ask advicer A Question ]
viciousxpunk answered Tuesday July 31 2007, 11:00 pm: you would have to do independent jobs. you could offer to mow lawns, or rake yards, you could house sit for people when they go on vacation (get the mail, the paper, water plants), you could petsit or do dog walking, or you could babysit. you could also make things and sell them, like candles, or baked goods, or set up a lemonade and cookies stand. if you arent looking for a set job you could do some yardsales and sell old stuff you dont need, or you could take some of your old music cd's and dvds that you dont want to certain stores who will buy them from you. good luck.
