something wrong?

Question Posted Monday July 30 2007, 2:36 pm

Ok well my..I think it's called a curve.. you know in between from your armpit to your butt there's a curve in your body?

Well one side it's like an hour glass, >

The other side is mroe better looking like on the manikins though but the other one is higher then the better side...

Is this normal? Is there something i can do about this?

I agree with the previous two answers, but it might also be the way you sleep.
Like, if you sleep on one side all the time, it might deform the fat (not saying you're fat) on your side.
I always sleep on my side, but I never know which one I fall asleep on, and my right side is a little like that, but I don't have scoliosis.

Hope that I helped,
Sara

have the school nurse check you for scoliosis(they should have done it already) it takes two seconds then you dont have to worry. For issues like this self examination isn't very effective, get a friend or family member to see if this is real or just in your head.

hey there :)

ooooh...i might freak you out here a little when i reply to this. grab a cup of water or maybe something to chew on or squeeze or something, lol. if it's what i think it is, then it might be scoliosis. it's a curvage in the spine that is more than normal. it could be something else, but i'm not sure. if it is scoliosis, then there can be simple way to fix it like a back brace. although, if it's on the serious side, then surgery may be needed. it's a simple procedure if thats the case. i'm not saying you'll need the surgery OR the back brace or anything, but you might want to ask your mom. dad, grandma, grandpa or guardian about it just to make sure. if you're curious about scoliosis or anything else about it, then look it up on google. it gives you an explanation more in depth

I hope this helped and didn't freak you out much.
