me and my friend will be babysitting a kid every day afterschool he's a five year old but i dont know whe HE likes but what should we do to entertain him and what should we charge

like 25 dollars a day take him to a park or even let him play outside play games like hide and seek if you got video games teach him to play with you

Ummm depending on where you live 4-7 dollars an hour, a good amount is 5$.Ummm I would plan to bring books,movies (spongebob and like other cartoons) and maybe some simple crafts like paper tube binoculars or colouring

i would do 10$ a day it evens its self out or if you want to charge by hour do 3-5$ an hour.
On entertaining him:
I have a little brther and he likes watching movies and tv shows like power rangers.
He loves it when i take him to the park or wrestle with him.
Im always creative,
I play play-dough and color with hi.
Try playing games that with teach him something like games with counting/numbers or spelling.

for charing.. like 5 or 6 $$ an hour is a good start, but if the kids will have aplay date and have lil friend over, tell them you want 2 more $$ an hour for the extra kid... to entertain him, anything.. he is little so you can:: color, play with toys, read to him, watch cartoons, play ta, hide an seek, play games, board games.... he is at such a young ae, basically anything is fun to him lol

I would charge $5 an hour... so you would have to split it (unless you too switch off days) unless you are over 18 and have some sort of degree thats pretty much a good rate.
try crafts, baking, playing outside... you can go to local libraries and check out books on preschool/kindergarten age kids crafts and stuff. do things that are cheap and fun like make playdough or bake cookies... Just please no tv! parents arent paying you to just pop in movies.. only do that if you need to do laundry or cook and you need him entertained.

i guess, you could start with a 5 and then increase it slighty after a year or sumthing.
but as for what this little boy would like, you can ask him, what he would want to do, befriend him, make him feel like your not intruding. but i'm sure if you ask this 5year old kid what he likes, he will tell you, ask him what kind of food he likes to eat, and try bringing some packet of crisps/chips or a bar of chocolate for him whenever you go to baby sit. find out few of his favourite games and play, act like a 5yr old your self, you were that age once.
