I was just searching around for reasons why we should drink a lot of water,and I suppose I show signs of not getting enough(always drowsy,can't concentrate,darker urine,less bowel movements,can hardly exercise).The thing is...I don't really like water.What can I do to make myself drink more,and what exactly does getting enough water intake do for you?
water if really god for you, it helps you loose weight, it flushes out all bad acidsin your body, it basicaly cleans your insides... which is really good because other wise you may get some problems later on because of the bad acids [ Kimmy27's advice column | Ask Kimmy27 A Question ]

try chilling the water. on a hot summer day, no one wants anything more than a chilled glass of water. also, try keeping several bottles of water handy in the refrigerator for car rides, etc. when you're downstairs, just take a cold bottle of water out of the fridge & carry it around with you. you'll realize that you're going to start drinking it even when you're not thirsty. you know what they say, by the time you even GET thirsty, you are already severely dehydrated.
also, try flavored water! you can buy crystal light, cool aid, etc. in the little powder patches & just put it in the water! you just have to keep water HANDY. if it's near you, you'll drink it more. do you know what i mean?
water is said to be the healthiest drink on the planet [although, green tea is coming very close!] the person under me was correct.. to an extent. water purifies your insides. it's like... cleaning out all the bad stuff inside your body. imagine it like this: your body is like a drain. if you keep putting "bad stuff" into it to keep clogging it, it will function slowly, or not at all. drain-O [being water] will "clean out" your insides & make you function faster! i know that was a really bad comparison, but i'm just trying to get the point across. water just clears out your insides. it has no calories, too.

Vitamin Water, Gatorade, Juices, anything in that area.
Etc Etc.
Just look around your local grocery store and try different drinks until you find one that you like.

KWeeks answered Sunday July 29 2007, 11:23 pm: Well yo start off you can buy like flavored water and stuff. When you jsut get back from jogging or soemthing ice water can really do it. I used to drink coke and now i only dirnk water and sweet tea. Water doea help you a lot. I mean people say waters healthy. I don't think that's true. I think that it just isnt bad for you which is why it helps you. When you put all the junk food and stuff in you, you need something but water isnt nessesarily healthy. Get the flavored water.
