Cardboard OR Plastic Tampons

Question Posted Saturday July 28 2007, 11:49 pm

Sorry this is my third question. Because I am so light when getting my period, I had bought Tampax Pearl Multi-pack because they come with lites. But this is uncovienent because I never use the other ones, however, there is not Tampax Pearl Lites sold sepearatly! When i went online I saw that they did have Tampax Lite Cardboard. Should i sue the carboard ones..or will they be to uncomfortable to insert?

Even though Tampax changed the cardboard applicator, they still do hurt inserting them. It's somewhat uncomfortable to insert the cardboard ones.

But I actually had the same problem you had with finding Tampax Lites in a seperate box, since I always bought the Multi-Pack for the lites (and other 2 absorbencies) but I actually found that they do sell Tampax Pearl Lites in a seperate box. The box contains 18 of them. I found them at Target actually. So I'm pretty sure if they had them Walmart will probably have them. I know where I live, the supermarket chain Pathmark sells them so try some supermarket chains too. You actually have a better shot looking in there for them.

So not worth getting the Tampax Lite Cardboard, so try finding the Tampax Pearl Lites.

Good luck. :)

The cardboard ones are a little harded to use and I personally think that they hurt.

Ha...if you were here, I'd just give you all of mine.

You'll use the rest eventually, and you'll burn through them.

Meanwhile, why not ask a friend if they also want to buy the box and trade you the light ones for the regular or super ones.

You can try using the cardboard ones - everyone has different views, if not why don't you try using Pads, you can find light ones and they would be easy and pain free :)
