Music Project for 1984
ok so I'm in AP honors english, and over summer we were assigned to read 4 specific books and come up with 2 projects each that we get to pick. I decided that for one of the books, I'm going to create a soundtrack for it. The book is 1984, and here are the songs I have so far:
1. "Mad World"- Gary Jules
2. "Paranoid"- Green Day
3. "Viva La Revolution"- The Adicts
4. "Try Out Your Voice"- Big D and the Kids Table
5. "Red, White, And Brainwashed"- Anti-Flag
6. "Rise Above"- Black Flag
7. "Save Me"- Unwritten Law
8. "Chains"- The Beatles
9. "Don't Try This At Home"- Chumbawamba.
I need 6 or 7 more songs that touch on the same themes that appear in this book..it's about a tolitarian government.. brainwashing.. that kind of thing. Any ideas are greatly appreciated!
