I am somewhere in between 5'9 and 5'10. I weigh around 145 pounds. but I want to lose weight. my goal is to be around 125 pounds.
I also want to be fit. I want nice abs, a firmer butt, and less flabby thighs.
I am NOT overweight, but I want to schieve these things ASAP.
PLEASE do not say anything like "you are perfect in your own skin" or "you are sooo not fat, you are the perfect weight."
I don't want to hear that, I just need a diet and an exercise regime.
does anyone have either one? or both? please?
If you have a Do's and Don't's list, that would be great too.

According to your current weight, you are perfectly normal. However, if you wanted to weigh 125, your BMI would look like this:
BMI Categories:
* Underweight = <18.5
* Normal weight = 18.5-24.9
* Overweight = 25-29.9
* Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater
125 lbs for a 5'10" girl would be 17.9, which would make you UNDERWEIGHT.
145 lbs for a 5'10" girl would be 20.8, which would leave you at a NORMAL WEIGHT.
To get toned, you need to do crunches, jog, walk, run on a treadmill, sit ups, leg lifts, ect.
WExGiVExADViCE answered Saturday July 28 2007, 2:10 pm: play sports. jog every day. go to the gym. do sit ups, push ups, etc. and if you dont want to work out then... good luck with getting toned. when you work out you probably wont lose tons of weight, but you will be toned. chakra answered Saturday July 28 2007, 12:25 pm: So your goal is to be seriously underweight?
I'm going to tell you something now which you wont want to hear but you really need to hear it.
I've beenserious underweight like you are striving to be, that was 6 years ago. Now i've put the weight back on and i am still very ill because of this.
I'm in constant pain and discomfort, i get light headed and dizzy, feel sik every day, cannot sleep, extremely tired and at the risk of brittle bones which i will probably develop in later life now.
Trust me, you don't want to be like this.
If you want to be healthy then have a balanced diet, tone up if you must, but do not lose any more weight.
*additional - don't be rude, i'm trying to help you and stop you from getting ill.
Ok, i admit (now i've checked on a health chart), it wouldn't be seriously underweight, but it will be underweight, which is unhealthy.
I'm sorry, but i am very passionate about this subject, it frustrates me when young girls want to lose weight and think being thin will make them perfect and beautiful. Having curves is much more beautiful and attractive.
You don't need to lose weight, i'm sorry but i on;t want you to go through what i've been through and what i'm going through now with my health, all because of weight loss. [ chakra's advice column | Ask chakra A Question ]
