My friend likes me!

Question Posted Friday July 27 2007, 8:07 pm

I am 14 years old, and I have a friend thats going into college, I met him through my team. He lives in North Carolina while I live in Connecticut. He recently admitted that he really liked me, more than a friend. I dont like him anymore than a friend. He's like a brother to me and he doesnst seem to get the point. At practice tonight my coach said no boy-girl involvement and directed it AT ME because he started spreading that me and him had a thing. I was about to cry, so I wrote him a text message, and me and him are in a huge fight. NC and CT are going on vacation sunday- for a whole week. I dont know what I should do...?

You need to tell him once again that you only like him as a friend and make sure he gets the point this time. Don't let him effect your vacation and ruin things for you. If you're going to be immature about it, ignore it. You don't need that.
