when you sennd someone a friend request on facebook, is there a way to cancel it?

i hate to tell you this but i am afraid not. there is no direct way. ON THE PLUS SIDE! i tried everything when i accidentally clicked someone i didn't intend to add... what you can do is block them. go to your privacy settings and add their names on your block list it should block all bonds (tho i still think he or she will get a notification) wen they answer it or try to view your profile you'll have disappeared from existence... at least to them! :D plus you can always remove the blocking later and i think things could go back to normal.... no friend request.
