qhettinq my nose pierced on saturday hopefully for my birthday.
1. i've heard that it feels like you got punched in the face . and it feels like that for days .
2. i've heard that you bleed very much .
3. i've heard you have to twist 4-8 times a day everyday.
4. does it hurt cleaning it and how do you clean it?
5. does it hurt taking the nose ring out for a new ring ?
6. does getting yur hose pierced overall hurt ?

The first three are absolute NONSENSE.
I've had 3 nostril piercings.
Firstly, it doesn't feel like a punch in the face. It feels like you'd expect it to feel - a needle. Of course it hurts a little bit. But it's not terribly bad - just a sharp prick. The good part is if you're scared about the pain factor, it only lasts about 5 seconds.
You most probably won't bleed. If you do, it will be a small amount.
Some people are more prone to bleeding.
To lower your chances, DO NOT drink any alcohol or take any tablets 24 hours before your piercing, because they thin your blood which makes you bleed easier.
Whatever you do, DO NOT touch or turn your piercing around AT ALL.
ALL you need to do is clean it as directed. Don't worry, they will tell you how. If not, soak sea salt in warm water and hold it over your nose for about 10 minutes. Use a cotton bud (Q tip) to remove any "crusties" from the piercing.
It doesn't hurt. It's actually really soothing.
But remember, if you touch it/play with it, you most probably will get what's called a nostril bump. and they take absolutely ages to settle down and go.
I advise you not to change your piercing for at least 3 months if you can. The more you aggravate it, the more time it will take to heal.
Nostril piercings are very stubborn and can easily go wrong if you accidently bump it or play with it, so as a final warning, only touch it when you clean it. I cannot stress that enough.
Lastly, for me, if the piercing hurt THAT much, I wouldn't put myself through it 3 times. ;)

i dont have it but my cousin and a few friends do and this is what ive heard:
1. my cousin said it didnt hurt at all and she didnt even feel it but others have said its just a small pinch. your nose is one of the easier places to pierce along with your ears.
2. you can bleed alot. my cousin did. ive heard caffeine can cause you to bleed, so try not to drink any or much caffeine that day.

4. not sure. probably just with antibacterial soap and water in the shower as thats whats required of alot of piercings but dont take my word for it
5. my cousin said it doesnt really hurt, but its difficult until you get used to it

I got my nose pierced. just the lil stud so i can tell you about that.
1. They put a clasp up your nose then she lines the holes (on the clasps) with the spot on your noses and she/he basically shoves the needle thru. And your eyes will probly water like mad crazy.
2. My nose bleed quite a bit but they are used to that happening they just dap a tissue on your nose till it stops.
3.You only have to twist it if they don't give you Emu oil. I had emu oil and i never had to twist the piercing.
4. I only cleaned it the first week. Just splash water on your nose. You can use a Qtip with water on it.
5.I have not had mine changed but what people have told me it does hurt.
6. Yes it hurts. Don't expect it to tickle!
