What is the proper way to go about opening a door for a girl when the door opens inward? Do you go through first and hold it for her, or push it in so she can walk through?

Go through first, then hold it. It could be awkward and uncomfortable if you are pushing it right over her.

Both ways are acceptable and polite. It's really great that you're asking this question, most guys don't care about opening doors for girls nowadays.

you can go thru first and lean on the door so she cna go thru or if your holding her hand just reach over her and get the door and open it and let her go thru first
