worried that I embarrassed my crush

Question Posted Wednesday July 25 2007, 12:51 am

There is this guy from my work place that I really like. I heard he has a drinking problem but so far it had just been a rumour. Well today I ran into him at the bottle depot. I was there first and then he showed up. He said hi but then got really quiet. All I had were water and diet cola bottles, but then I glanced at his and saw tons of boxes of beer cans. I could sense he was embarrassed because normally he's very talkative, so I just collected my money and left. Now I don't know how to act around him. Should I just pretend like I never saw anything?

Just act normally, you never know there might be a perfectly reasonable explanation, (he might have had a party) but as he is aware of the rumours he felt embarassed. Give him the benefit of the doubt and act like things are just fine.

Wow. Tough...
Try to help him.
If he insists you don't he could be adicited but to "proud" to admit he has a problem.
This is tough.
Tell him you like him,and if he says he likes you tell him you will only date him if he quits.
Obviously he is ashamed or embarassed about drinking.
