goth: Someone who likes the darker side of things. They usually listen to death metal and goth music, such as Dismember and Bauhaus.

punk: The wide-spread basic understanding/definition of “punk” includes a basic wanting to be different, is who is different.

emo: A group of white, mostly middle-class well-off kids who find imperfections in there life and create a ridiculous, depressing melodrama around each one. Like a Goth, only much less dark and much more Harry Potter.

Punks & Emos usually dress the same,
but the real difference between them
is the inside. Punks are usually hardcore.
They act like they dont have feelings.
Where Emos, are pretty much sad, depressed
people who usually cut. Punks just dress
the part, but usually they're just very
loud & stuff. hope i helped.
