Going back to school. [ wrong category? not sure ]
Question Posted Monday July 23 2007, 12:43 pm
So I'm going back to school in september, and I'm going to be a junior, I don't know why I'm so anxoius. But I am, and it makes my stomach hurt. Why do you think I'm so nervous? It was fine freshman and sophmore year. I'm actually considered upperclassmen now, so i don't know why I'm so worried, do you think once school starts I'll be okay?

College's really don't only focus on that year, but I thought they did when I started junior year. I just got through with it a month ago and it honestly wasn't that bad. Sure there's more work to do, but it's not as bad as you think - I promise. Once school starts, focus on your academics & you'll do fine!
Remember, it's just another year in school. The only real difference this year is gonna be the amount of work teachers give you - just because they need to teach you more.

You're finally an upper classman & you have the SATS ahead of you. Don't think too much about it. You're in the same position as mostly everyone in your grade, other than people who aren't going to college. Stay focused on your studies & things will go fine. My tip would be to stay focused on your work & don't fall behind. Start studying for your SATS by August. You'll need it. They are very difficult. If you aren't going to take them, then obviously you shouldn't be feeling stressed, especially in July. Relax & be calm about it. There's no need for stress. Junior year was actually a lot of fun. You're more responsible than freshman year & sophmore year, most likely, & you get to do a lot more.
