Where to apply?

Question Posted Sunday July 22 2007, 9:44 pm

I really need to find a job.
I started driving alone about two weeks ago, and now I need to start paying for gas and I just need more spending money.
Any ideas on ANYWHERE I could get a job?
I really dont want to work anywhere like McDonalds or fast food or waitressing.

Thanks :]

You could look in the newspaper in the classified adds and see if theres any jobs in there that you would like.

theres always retail stores, you could pick your favorite one so you get discounts on clothes. life guarding if you live near a country club or something with a pool. daycares - they pay about $8-10 around here. ice cream shops [really popular with teens]. or waitressing. i know you said you dont want to waitress, and i said the exact same thing but it was a last resort and ive been one for 5 months now at a bbq place. let me tell you tips are amazing and i dont live in a very big town. when averaged out with my hours i usually make around $10-20 an hour just in tips. plus my salary. just find somewhere where they wont make you 'pool' your tips and you can make some good money!

ohkay what about.

camp counseling (mostly summer job)
waitressing (ik you said you didnt want to work as a waitress BUT tips are really good. most of the time you can find a place where you keep your tips and it doesnt interfear with your normal pay check)
dairy queen or any ice cream shop
grocery store
clothing stores
animal hospital
starting your own thing like:
baby sitting
car detailing
mowing lawns
shoveling snow

hope i helped somewhat
