I suggest going to a culinary arts college...there are lots of great good ones that specialize in different fields of the culinary arts...most of them are two year schools...some are four year...and I also suggest doing 2 years at a pastry arts school...france has the best ones...so your looking at 4-6 years...

You could go to a culinary college Johnson and Whales in Rhode Island is one of the best. It is a four year college. Most culinary schools, the good ones anyway are two years.
