an old feelings
I don't know if i should tell my ex-boyfriend that i still have feelings for him. He's asked me before but i never gave a straight answer. We started going together at the begining of the school year last year but broke up like a week later. By the end of the school year we started acting like we were when we first started going out. I don't kow if i should tell him how i feel about him or keep it a secret. It's just that i really like him. He's like the best person in the world and the sweetest. What should i do?

my answer isn't going to be as detailed as all the others, but i know more about this subject than probably anyone.
i know exactly what it feels like to have strong feelings for your exboyfriend.
my ex & i had been together for 2 years & he broke up with me randomly out of no where. we've been broken up for 6 months, but we still hung out/hooked up every now & then.
i never truly got over him.
i'm still not completely over him.
and it was killing me. so the other night i messaged my best friend, asked her for advice & she told me to completely tell him how i felt.
so i gained up all the nerve i had & just 3 days ago, i finally told him that i was still in love with him. my exact words were:
"i want to be with you.
i can't pretend like i don't have feelings for you anymore. i can't hold this in any longer.
you told me to give other guys a fair shot, so i did. & it only made me realize that you are the only guy i can see myself with. you are the only guy i ever want to be with. you & i are supposed to be together. i want to take as much time as possible to rebuild what we had. i want you. & if you don't feel the same way about me, i understand. i just don't want to live a lie anymore.
& if you don't feel the same, i don't want things to change just because of what i said. even if you don't feel as if we are ever going to get a second chance, i still want us to be here for eachother. i've changed a lot, i really have. but there's only one thing that hasn't changed, & that's the fact that i am still in love with you."
& in all honesty, i think you should do the same thing.
even though i haven't heard from my ex since then, i feel so much more relieved to know that he actually knows how i feel about him. it kind of makes me nervous, but it's worth it.

i think that you should totally just gain up your nerve and talk to him just about that. But you cant think about it too much because youll scare the crap out of yourself and never have the courage to tell him how you feel. i have had a boyfriend that i broke up with and went back out with like 7 times and i never always had a problem at the first breakup to tell him how i felt about him and that i didnt want to brake up. but then i just went mad and almost screamed that i liked him so much.....you dont want to do that haha because it makes him think your some crazy desperate girl. so just walk up to him, pull him to the side and vent. He will admire you for having the guts to tell him how youve REALLY been feeling. =D

You should definitely talk to him. If you really like him, and you don't talk to him, he'll never know that you actually have feelings for him.
Just tell him the whole truth, and if he really loves you and he's a genuine guy, he'll understand and sweep you off of your feet again. :)
